2022 Provo River Cleanup
Spring is an amazing time of year. The fish bite is coming on strong, ice is clearing off high elevation lakes and it was time for our annual Lower Provo River clean-up.
Working off the success of the 2021 events we had no doubt that this year's clean up was going to see great participation, new and old friends and plenty of garbage removed from the Lower Provo River. We were not disappointed!
The seventh annual clean up was a little colder than usual with snow in the air but that did not hold back the over 300 volunteers, some arriving before 8 am ready to lend a helping hand. From set up through lunch and our ever popular raffle there were many smiles and excitement as we easily filled two 30-yard dumpsters removing over 8200 lbs of trash. We want to thank everyone who showed up early and stayed late to make our first clean up of 2022 a huge success.
A special thank you to those who donated and contributed to this event:
