2021 Weber River Cleanup
Our final cleanup of the year on the Weber River was only the second time we’ve had rain during an event! But, as always, our amazing volunteers brought the heat and the weather didn’t slow us down. In fact, it was our best turnout for Weber cleanups to date.
As a team, we are reflecting on how amazing it has been to see the community that has been built through Fish for Garbage. We have loved getting to know new volunteers, see the familiar faces of our dedicated volunteers, and watch the excitement grow for our events year by year.
This year, we’ve had new sponsors commit to supporting our mission and help make our events a success. We’ve also had more volunteers and more pounds of garbage pulled from our waterways than any previous year!
