Join us on Saturday, September 20th, from 9 AM to 1 PM for the Big Cottonwood Canyon & River Cleanup! Help us restore the riparian ecosystem by removing garbage from the waterway while enjoying the outdoors, meeting new people, and having a chance to win exciting prizes.

The event will kick off at the Big Cottonwood Canyon park & ride, where you'll receive trash bags, grabbers and gloves. From there, we'll work together to clean up the entire canyon. Afterward, we'll head to Brighton Resort to drop off the collected trash and enjoy a complimentary volunteer BBQ and various free activities hosted by the resort. (Scenic Lift Rides, Disc Golf, Mountain Biking, Live Music and more.)

For every bag of garbage you collect, you'll receive a ticket for a free BBQ meal and an entry into our prize drawings. The more bags you fill, the more chances you have to win fantastic prizes generously provided by our sponsors. We'll supply garbage bags, gloves, and water filling stations. To help reduce waste, please bring your own water bottle.

Please remember Big Cottonwood Canyon is a Watershed and no domestic pets are allowed in the canyon. Also if you plan to enter the river you are required to wear waders.
