2023 Strawberry Reservoir Clean Up & Camp Out
On a beautiful summer day, the Fish For Garbage team organized the highly anticipated Strawberry Reservoir Clean Up and Camp Out event on June 24, 2023. This remarkable initiative aimed to restore the pristine beauty of the reservoir and its surroundings while raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. We are thrilled to share the incredible success of the event, and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers and sponsors who made it possible.
Over 120 enthusiastic volunteers from various walks of life came together with a common goal in mind: to make a positive impact on our environment. Their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment were truly inspiring. Together, we managed to collect an astonishing 4,180 pounds of trash from the reservoir and its shoreline, significantly improving the ecosystem and ensuring the preservation of this natural treasure for generations to come.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the volunteers who generously contributed their time and energy to the clean-up efforts. Your enthusiasm and passion for environmental stewardship were instrumental in the success of this event. We are immensely proud of each and every one of you for your outstanding commitment to creating a cleaner and healthier environment.
