2022 Weber River Cleanup

Cleaning the Weber always brings surprises, either because of the weather in September, or the type of garbage left from people floating all summer long. However, we always, always get an enthusiastic group of volunteers, ready for some hard work picking up trash and enjoying good company. 

This year was gorgeous, and even though a lot of the garbage was smaller than usual, we were able fill a huge dumpster. Highlights were a big keyboard piano, several tires, popped tubes, a gazillion cigarette butts, and too many beer cans to count. 

We are incredibly impressed by and grateful for the volunteers who showed up to every single Utah cleanup this year. We’ve gotten to know a lot of you throughout the years now, and sincerely appreciate you. 

About a third of participants were first-timers to a FFG cleanup. It was so cool to see so many new faces! Please come back!
